Section C.  Companion Dog Guarantee:

 "Companion Dog" means this animal is sold as a pet and NOT for breeding /show purposes.                                                                                      
 No warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied are made under this contract except as stated below or  

 as stipulated in writing in SECTION C - #8 of this contract.

 1.  All COMPANION DOGS are sold with AKC LIMITED REGISTRATION.

 2. Your puppy has been checked by a licensed veterinarian, is in good health and free of communicable

 disease at time of sale. This puppy comes with a Veterinarian’s State Health Certificate.

 Buyers are given three (3) days from purchase and / or shipping date to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian (buyer pays all vet fees). If the puppy fails, a written statement from the veterinarian will be required. Return said puppy and all paperwork, including AKC papers (if given) for a replacement or refund of purchase price. Buyer pays all veterinarian /shipping fees. The breeder reserves the right to have his own veterinarian examine the puppy before replacement or purchase price is refunded (breeders option). If buyer fails to have puppy/dog checked/examined by a licensed veterinarian within the 3-day time limit, buyer understands that all sales are final and All Health Guarantees are null & void.

 Breeder does not guarantee against accident, neglect, abuse nor guarantee compatibility with your current pets.

 A basic obedience class for your puppy, crate training and a fenced yard is recommended by breeder/seller.

3. When a puppy is sold as pet only, it is not to be used as a breeder, and will be of limited registration.

Buyer(s) understands and guarantees that this puppy will NOT be used as a breeder and will be

spayed or neutered (by 9 months of age). Registration papers will be withheld until the seller has received a signed/dated letter from your veterinarian, stating that said puppy/dog has been spayed/neutered. If a companion dog is found that it’s been /being use as a breeding animal it will be considered a breach of contract in which ownership of said dog will revert back to the breeder/seller and result in the buyer/owner paying the seller/breeder a added sum of one thousand dollars [$1,000.00] per pup produce from such breeding

Agreement for SPAY/NEUTER before the AKC LIMITED REGISTRATION certificate is issued:

  4.Warranty is limited in duration to the one (1) year provided and is, the ONLY expressed warranty.

To the original purchaser for one (1) year, from date of purchase, against genetic life threatening abnormalities.                 Puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale.

 If the puppy is found to have a life threatening genetic abnormal condition, and is found to be unsuitable as a pet, a diagnosing statement from the licensed veterinarian must be provided  (signed/dated).

Return said puppy (living) and all paperwork including AKC papers (if given). The seller has the right to have the said puppy examined by their veterinarian to confirm findings. If confirmed you are entitled (at the breeders discretion) to a refund of 1/2 the original purchase price or with another puppy of equal value from the next available litter. You must return the sick puppy (living). In case of death buyer must have autopsy performed within 24 hours of death. If cause of death was from a genetic, abnormal condition, a copy of the autopsy report is to be sent to the breeder. Your remedy does not include cost of inconvenience, transportation costs, veterinarian fees or any other costs. (If the dog is returned for reasons other than failure to pass Veterinarian

 examination, buyer forfeits any and all refunds.)

This warranty is null and void if the puppy has been abused, injured or shows signs of neglect.

 5. If Buyer(s) decides to sell/give away otherwise dispose of the dog, Seller/breeder has the right to first refusal.

 6. Buyer(s) agrees to: Annual veterinary checkups, including heartworm check; to keep all immunizations

current according to AVMA guidelines; to properly administer heartworm prevention, to provide adequate housing according to state law; to confine the animal to a fenced yard or kennel run or walk on a leash but not restrain on a rope or chain.

7. If a heartworm preventative containing Ivermectin (Heart Guard) is given to a puppy weighing less then 4 lbs. All Health Guarantees are void. 

 8. No other warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, are made under this contract except those stated

Section D. Alteration Explanations and Agreement Why Spay and Neuter?

COMPANION DOGS come from the same litter as show/ breeding prospects and are placed only in good family homes. Spaying or neutering your pet will stop many future problems and will give your pet a longer, happier and healthier life.

 ALTERATION AGREEMENT: My purpose for purchasing this purebred dog is for companionship only. Since it was sold as a companion (pet) and not for breeding or exhibition in conformation, I agree to have this dog altered (SPAYED/ NEUTERED) (by 9 months of age). Failure to comply with this clause will be considered a breach of contract in which ownership of said dog will revert back to the breeder/seller and/ or   result in the buyer/owner paying the seller/breeder a added sum of one thousand dollars [$1,000.00].

The AKC LIMITED REGISTRATION form will be withheld until the seller receives a statement verifying the alteration from the veterinarian performing the surgery. FAILURE TO HAVE DOG ALTERED WITHIN THE AGREED TIME PERIOD VOIDS ALL GUARANTEES. The AKC REGISTRATION APPLICATION is valid for ONLY ONE YEAR from the date on which it was issued. If you are interested in registering your pet, PLEASE have your pet altered at the recommended age. By doing so you will have plenty of time to send me verification of spay/neuter, and to receive back your AKC REGISTRATION APPLICATION and submit it to the AKC.

9.The buyer(s) certifies by signing this bill of sale that this dog is not sold for resale purposes and that the breeder/seller will be notified if it is necessary for this dog to change hands and right of first refusal will be given to the breeder/seller.  

     **Note** NO puppies can be registered if parents are of “limited” registration.

 NO REMINDERS WILL BE SENT OUT SO PLEASE MARK THESE DATES ON YOUR CALENDAR!

Please note that NO puppy will leave my home before 8 weeks of age (NOT even by one day).

Remember if for any reason you are unable to keep a puppy purchased from me I will always take them back into my home. I request the dog back.!!
